Olimpia Milano Regains Italian Basketball Throne

Olimpia Milano have regained the Italian basketball championship, defeating Reyer Venezia 3-1 in the final series. Last year's champion, Virtus Bologna, was eliminated in the semifinals by Venezia.

In the fourth game, Milano secured an 86-72 victory, clinching the series 3-1. Previous results: Milano won 100-80 and 92-79 at home, and lost 97-109 in Venice.

Armoni Brooks and Marko Gudurić led the winners with 15 points each. For Venezia, former Vilnius Rytas guard Ardy Cole scored 17 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished 5 assists.

This season, Olimpia also won the Italian Cup, beating Derthona Tortona (with Latvian player Artūrs Strautiņš) 85-77 in the final. In the EuroLeague, Milano finished 14th with a 17-21 record.

Olimpia Milano, with 32 titles, is the most decorated club in Italian basketball history.
