Milan-based Cato raises €6 million to help companies find and win public tenders with AI
Milan-based startup Cato has raised a €6 million seed round to expand its AI platform that helps companies find, analyze and win public tenders. The round was led by Amsterdam- and London-based Keen Venture Partners.
Italian startup Cato has closed a €6 million seed funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm Keen Venture Partners. The company has built an artificial intelligence platform designed to help businesses navigate the often complex and time-consuming process of participating in public tenders.
Round led by Amsterdam and London-based investor
Keen Venture Partners, which operates out of Amsterdam and London, led the new investment round. A number of Cato's existing investors also returned to participate, including Vento, Heartfelt, Moonstone, BHeroes and Alecla, among others, signaling continued confidence in the company's growth trajectory.
What Cato's platform does
Cato's AI-powered platform is built to help companies find relevant public tender opportunities, analyze the requirements and documentation involved, and prepare stronger applications to improve their chances of winning contracts. Public procurement is widely regarded as a bureaucratically demanding area for businesses, and Cato positions its technology as a way to simplify that process.
With the fresh capital, the Milan-based company plans to further develop its technology and expand its reach, aiming to bring AI-driven tools to more companies looking to compete for public sector contracts.
