Munich Brewers’ Day 2026
Munich held its annual Brewers’ Day on June 20, drawing crowds to the city center for processions, ceremonies, and traditional music that celebrate the city’s brewing heritage.
Around 3,000 liters of beer were shared throughout the day, with an official tapping marking a key highlight. The morning began with apprentices gathering before a procession to St. Peter’s Church, followed by the main ceremony at Marienplatz.
A stage program of folk music and dance continued into the afternoon as visitors filled the old town. Brewers’ Day recognizes newly qualified brewers and maltsters while reaffirming Munich’s identity as a center of beer craftsmanship.
