Kardashian Clan Matriarch Mary Jo Campbell Dies at 91

The Kardashian-Jenner family is mourning the loss of Mary Jo Campbell, known as MJ, who died at the age of 91. She was the mother of Kris Jenner and the beloved matriarch of the famous clan.

Kris Jenner announced the sad news on social media with an emotional tribute. She wrote that today they said goodbye to her beautiful mom MJ and that there are no words to describe how much she meant to her. Jenner said her mother was the heart of their family and taught her the most important life values – unconditional love for family, kindness, and the ability to appreciate time spent together.

Mary Jo was the grandmother of Kris's six children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie. So far, no other family members have publicly commented on her passing.

Earlier this year, in an episode of the reality show "The Kardashians," Kris Jenner expressed concern about her mother's health. She noted that at 90, her mother's health had become fragile and that she had experienced a difficult emotional period after the death of her daughter Karen.

Throughout her life, Mary Jo overcame serious health challenges, including surviving cancer twice – breast and colon cancer. Before the family's global fame, she worked as an etiquette teacher, model, and entrepreneur, and later ran a children's clothing store in Los Angeles, where she lived until the end of her life.
