Model Anastasija Aleksejevska becomes advocate for kidney patients after transplant

Model Anastasija Aleksejevska has been diagnosed with lupus nephritis, a serious complication of autoimmune disease that damages the kidneys. In this condition, the body mistakenly attacks its own cells, causing inflammation that gradually impairs kidney function.
