The Moldovan Parliament approved a new government on July 21, granting a vote of confidence to the cabinet led by Prime Minister Vasile Tofan. According to Newsmaker, 53 deputies from the ruling Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) voted in favor of the new government.

During the plenary session, Tofan emphasized that the new government will focus on five main priorities: economic development, leveraging the EU accession process for modernization, improving public administration efficiency, strengthening security, and enhancing citizens' quality of life. These objectives are set to guide the government's work in the coming years.

The decision comes as Moldova continues its reform path and closer integration with the European Union, a key political direction. The approval of the new government marks continuity in the country's development strategy.
