Woman suspected of Monaco bomb attack found dead in Ukraine
Anastasiia Berezovska, wanted for a parcel bombing in Monaco that injured a sanctioned Ukrainian multi-millionaire, has been found dead in Ukraine with gunshot wounds to the head. Ukraine's security service has detained two men on suspicion of her murder.

Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) has announced that the woman suspected of carrying out a parcel bombing in Monaco has been found dead. Anastasiia Berezovska, 39, allegedly planted a bomb in the entrance hall of an apartment building on 29 June, which injured a sanctioned Ukrainian multi-millionaire and his family.
After the attack, Berezovska fled to Ukraine, arriving on 1 July. There, she communicated with her family and two men – a former law enforcement officer and a current officer in Ukraine's Ministry of Defence main intelligence directorate. The SBU stated that these men repeatedly transferred funds to Berezovska's crypto and bank accounts, leading investigators to suspect them as accomplices in the Monaco attack.
The intelligence officer subsequently confessed to murdering Berezovska, claiming he acted with another suspect. During a search of the former law enforcement officer's home, authorities found a basement room resembling a torture chamber. Both men have been detained on suspicion of premeditated murder committed by a group of individuals. An investigation is ongoing.
