The cathedral of speed
Set within a royal park surrounded by woodland, Monza has earned the nickname "the cathedral of speed." It is regarded as the spiritual home of Ferrari and draws the devotion of the team's passionate fans, known as the tifosi.
The circuit's place in F1 history is hard to overstate. It was the venue where the very first world championship title was settled 76 years ago, and last year it saw Red Bull's Max Verstappen post the fastest qualifying lap ever recorded in the sport.
