Motorola unveils new crystal-covered Razr edition
Motorola has introduced another special edition of its Razr flip phone, this time in black and covered in Swarovski crystals. The company also announced a new Moto Watch Ultra smartwatch.
Motorola has released a new special edition of its Razr flip phone, once again decorated with Swarovski crystals. This time the device comes in a Pantone Meteorite, or black, finish, following last year's white edition made in collaboration with Swarovski.
The new model features 35 hand-positioned Swarovski crystals along with a 32-facet crystal placed on the hinge. The back of the phone has a quilted, leather-inspired texture, and the package includes a clear case designed to protect the design while keeping it visible.
Internally, the specifications remain unchanged from the standard version. This is the 2026 model, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chip with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The external display measures 3.6 inches when the phone is folded, while the internal AMOLED display measures 6.9 inches when unfolded. It includes a 50-megapixel main camera system, and the battery lasts up to 36 hours per charge.
The new Razr edition goes on sale September 10 for $900. Early buyers will also receive a free pair of Moto Buds 2 Plus earbuds, also decorated with Swarovski crystals, along with a base Moto Watch.
New smartwatch
Alongside the new Razr edition, Motorola also announced the Moto Watch Ultra. The wearable features LTE connectivity, dual-band GPS and a large OLED display. It integrates with Wear OS by Google and includes an NFC reader for making payments. Its battery lasts around two days. The Moto Watch Ultra will also be available starting September 10, priced at $350.
