Ukrainian forward Mudryk could resume career at another Premier League club
Chelsea forward Mykhailo Mudryk, following the end of his doping ban, could be loaned out to Premier League side Leeds United. The club is also still considering sending him to French side Strasbourg.
Chelsea's Ukrainian forward Mykhailo Mudryk could continue his career on loan at another Premier League club after being cleared to return to action. Reports suggest Leeds United are being considered as a possible destination.
Chelsea's management is also still weighing the option of sending the player to Strasbourg, the French club owned by Chelsea's ownership group. However, Mudryk himself reportedly wants to stay in England, which is why a move to Leeds is under consideration.
Return after suspension
The 25-year-old has not played an official match since November 2024, when he was provisionally suspended following a positive doping test for the banned substance meldonium. Earlier this month, the English Football Association closed the case, clearing him to return to play.
Mudryk joined Chelsea in 2023 in a transfer worth around 70 million euros from Shakhtar Donetsk. During his time in England, however, he has not lived up to expectations, scoring only ten goals and providing eight assists in total.
