“Mūsa Mežciems” aims to boost “Omoda” and “Jaecoo” car sales in the Baltics
After a successful public premiere of “Omoda” and “Jaecoo” cars in Riga, official dealer “Mūsa Mežciems” plans to increase sales of the brands across the Baltic states.

A city premiere of “Omoda” and “Jaecoo” vehicles took place in the courtyard of Riga's “Hanzas Perons”, drawing a large number of visitors. Attendees were able to view the cars up close, learn about their design, technology and interiors, and consult with brand representatives, with many signing up for test drives.
Organizers say the strong turnout for test drives points not just to curiosity but to genuine interest from potential buyers. Ģirts Zemītis, head of brand importer “Mūsa CI”, said visitors praised the cars' modern design, cabin quality and technological features, adding that the level of interest confirms strong growth potential for the two brands in the Baltic market.
Changing buyer habits
According to Zemītis, when choosing a car, buyers increasingly weigh design, equipment, technology and value for money rather than relying solely on brand recognition. He believes it is precisely in these areas that “Omoda” and “Jaecoo” can compete with established European manufacturers.
Among the more sought-after models is the “Omoda 5”, while the “Jaecoo 7” has become one of the most in-demand new cars in the United Kingdom. Both brands are said to be rapidly expanding their market share in several European countries.
New addition to the dealer's lineup
With the addition of “Omoda” and “Jaecoo”, “Mūsa Mežciems” has become the official dealer for both brands in Latvia, expanding its existing lineup that includes “Citroen”, “Hyundai”, “Opel” and “Peugeot”. The company belongs to “Mūsa Motors grupa”, which holds 88.99% of its shares and is one of the few Latvian-owned car retail holding groups, also representing brands such as “Volvo”, “Renault”, “Dacia”, “VW”, “Škoda” and “Lynk&Co”.
