Next Week to Bring Summer-Like Warmth and Mostly Dry Weather to Latvia

According to forecasters from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, an anticyclone will determine the weather next week, leading to drier and warmer conditions. At the beginning of the week, isolated short-term rain may still occur, but precipitation will become less frequent, with the sun shining more often. Winds will generally be light, and temperatures will remain summery.

Monday will be partly cloudy. Some rain is expected in places, mainly in the eastern regions, with possible thunderstorms at night and in the afternoon. Fog may form in some areas in the morning, significantly reducing visibility. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest and north. Nighttime lows will range from +15°C to +19°C, while daytime highs will reach +23°C to +28°C. The coast will be slightly cooler, with maximum temperatures between +20°C and +25°C.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and clouds. On Tuesday, occasional rain is still possible, mainly during the night and morning, but Wednesday will be dry in most of the country. Winds will be light to moderate from the north, gradually shifting to the west on Wednesday. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +13°C to +19°C, while daytime highs will reach +23°C to +26°C. Coastal areas will remain slightly cooler.

During the second half of the week, the weather will remain calm and mostly dry. No significant precipitation is expected, cloud cover will be minimal, and sunshine will be abundant. Winds will be light. Nighttime lows will generally drop to +12°C to +17°C, while daytime temperatures will reach +25°C to +26°C in many places.
