Next Week's Most Popular Latvian Name Days: Aina and Anete
Latvia's Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs reports that among name days falling between October 5–11, Aina and Anete are the most common names in the country, while Druvvaldis and Zilga are the rarest.

According to data from the Population Register of Latvia's Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (PMLP), among the personal names marking name days next week, Aina (3,347 people) and Anete (3,085 people) are the most widely held in Latvia. Both celebrate their name day on October 8.
Other relatively common names among next week's celebrants include Amēlija (2,429), Monta (1,828), Arvīds (1,657) and Arvis (1,453).
Rarest names
Meanwhile, the rarest names on next week's calendar in Latvia are Druvvaldis (6 people), Zilga (6 people), Tince (24 people) and Zilgma (25 people).
Other name day celebrants
Other people also celebrating name days during the week include 928 Monikas, 787 Elgas, 525 Silvas, 247 Druvji, 208 Elgari, 188 Helgas, 139 Daumanti and 138 Amālijas.
According to PMLP's compiled statistics, name days between October 5 and 11 are also celebrated by people named Zilgma, Monika, Daumants, Druvvaldis, Elga, Helga, Elgars, Druvis and others on the calendar. The data reflects the total number of people registered in Latvia under each name, including separate breakdowns of how many were born this year and how many live in Riga or the surrounding Pierīga region.
