Temperatures set to drop overnight before Monday brings sun and rain
Latvia's weather service forecasts a noticeable overnight cooldown with patchy fog, followed by a mostly sunny Monday interrupted by brief afternoon rain showers.

Latvia's Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĢMC) forecasts scattered short-lived rain across parts of the country on Monday.
Overnight conditions
Overnight into Monday, cloud cover will vary and some areas will see brief rain. As winds ease, fog is expected to form in certain regions. Temperatures will drop to between +7 and +12 degrees Celsius, with slightly warmer conditions along the coast.
A sunny day with afternoon showers
During the day, sunshine is expected in many areas, though clouds will periodically cover the sky. From midday onward, brief rain showers are forecast in some locations. Air temperatures will rise to between +16 and +21 degrees.
Conditions in Riga
In the capital, light rain will continue overnight, though clouds will clear at times, with temperatures dropping to +10 to +12 degrees. Around midday, Riga will also see a brief rain shower, while winds remain light to moderate from the west. As skies clear, the maximum temperature in the capital could reach around +20 degrees.
