Fog expected across much of Latvia overnight into Monday

The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC) has forecast that fog will form in many areas of Latvia during the night heading into Monday.

According to the meteorologists' outlook, fog is expected to appear widely across the country, meaning residents planning to travel or be on the road during the night hours should be prepared for reduced visibility.

The meteorology centre regularly issues such weather observations to help residents and drivers anticipate possible difficulties on the roads caused by poor visibility conditions.
