Meteorologists forecast that overnight temperatures in Latvia will fall to between +6 and +11°C ahead of Saturday, while daytime conditions will remain largely dry and warmer. Riga can expect variable cloud cover with possible evening rain.
Forecasters report that the night before Saturday will bring noticeably cooler conditions across Latvia, with air temperatures in most areas dropping to between +6°C and +11°C. Coastal regions will be the exception, where warmth will linger up to +16°C. Cloud cover overnight will be variable, but no significant precipitation is expected. Winds will be light, blowing from the west and southwest.
Daytime brings milder conditions
Daytime weather is set to improve, with dry conditions prevailing in many areas despite partial cloud cover. Brief rain showers are still possible, mainly in the Kurzeme and Vidzeme regions. With light westerly winds continuing, daytime air temperatures will climb to between +16°C and +19°C.
Conditions in Riga
The capital can expect variable cloudiness over the coming day and night. A brief spell of rain is possible during Saturday evening. Winds will be light, from the west and southwest. Overnight temperatures in Riga will hover around +10°C, rising to between +18°C and +19°C during the day.
