Cooler night expected in Latvia on Saturday

According to weather forecasters, temperatures across Latvia are set to drop noticeably during the night leading into Saturday. Most of the country will see air temperatures ranging between +6 and +11 degrees Celsius overnight.

Milder conditions are expected along the coast, where the proximity of the sea will help retain warmer air. In these areas, nighttime temperatures are not expected to fall below +16 degrees.

The forecast highlights a notable temperature gap between inland areas and the coast, a pattern typical of early autumn, when the sea still holds warmth accumulated over summer and influences the surrounding climate.
