Property manager and basement owner in court over tariffs and bills

A case has reached the Zemgale Regional Court where a basement owner disputes a property manager's unilateral tariff increases and sudden bill hikes.

A dispute between the owner of non-residential premises in an apartment building and the property manager has reached the Zemgale Regional Court. The case centers on bills the woman received for her 176.7 square meter basement. She believes the manager raised tariffs without proper consultation, citing rising costs in the country. She decided to stop paying and fight for fair billing. The court will have to determine where the joint liability of co-owners ends and the manager's arbitrary actions begin.
