The Ro-Ro art club in Narva, Estonia, has been notified that its lease will be terminated from 16 November because of rent arrears. If the debt is not settled by the end of October, the city department plans to go to court.

The Ro-Ro art club in Narva, a city in Estonia, has received notice that its premises lease will end on 16 November due to unpaid rent. If the decision stands, the club will have to leave the premises.
According to the city's Urban Management Department, overdue debt for rent, building maintenance and utilities stood at 6,477 euros as of 16 October. Taking into account payments falling due on 31 October, the city is demanding 7,165 euros. The information was reported by the local outlet Delovye Vedomosti and relayed by Estonian public broadcaster ERR.
If the debt to the city is not paid by the end of October, the department intends to turn to the courts.
Other debts
The club is run by the company Puhtus ja Hoolitsus OÜ, whose financial difficulties are not limited to the debt owed to the city. According to the Infobank database, the firm's tax debt exceeded 11,000 euros as of 20 October.
Two separate demands
Termination of the lease and recovery of the money are two separate demands, and there is no promise that the contract will be preserved if the debt is repaid by the end of the month.
