Mesurme Pisareva elected new leader of Narva Reform Party branch

Members of the Narva branch of the Reform Party have chosen Mesurme Pisareva as their new head. Pisareva thanked fellow party members for their trust and the previous leadership for its work, stressing that every member's contribution to the region's development matters.

She noted that the branch has recently been joined by more and more new people, which she said gives reason for optimism. According to Pisareva, the team is growing and getting stronger, and the shared goal is to make Narva a better place to live, work and build a future.

Branch history

The Narva branch of the Reform Party was established in August 2024, when Veronika Berzin was elected as its first chairwoman. Berzin said her cooperation with Pisareva began even before the 2025 local elections, when she invited Pisareva to top the party's Narva list. Over that time, Berzin said, she became convinced Pisareva had both the desire and the ability to work for Narva's and the team's benefit.

In the 2025 local elections, the Reform Party ran in Narva with a list of nine candidates and received a total of 154 votes (1.1%), failing to clear the election threshold. Pisareva, who topped the list, placed only fourth among the candidates with 23 votes, while the best result for Narva's Reform Party members was achieved by Rene Abramson with 43 votes.

Pisareva was a Reform Party member from 2021 to 2023 and rejoined the party in April 2025. From February 2024 to January 2025, she served as Narva's deputy mayor for education, when the city was led by centrist Jaan Toots.
