Šalkauskas and Kukk win Narva autumn run by wide margins

Denis Šalkauskas and Kaisa Kukk claimed decisive victories in the men's and women's categories of the Narva autumn run's 10km race in Estonia. In total, 703 participants recorded times across the event's three distances.

The annual Narva autumn run took place recently, with Denis Šalkauskas taking a commanding win in the main 10-kilometer race, finishing in 30 minutes and 32 seconds.

Second place went to Mihhail Kushtein, better known as a rower, who trailed the winner by nearly six minutes with a time of 36 minutes and 16 seconds. Jaanus Mäe rounded out the podium in third with a time of 36 minutes and 28 seconds.

In the women's 10km race, Kaisa Kukk was the fastest, crossing the line in 37 minutes and 58 seconds. Natalia Latina took second place with a time of 45 minutes and 41 seconds, while Karela Elizabeth Carvajal Arias finished third at 47 minutes and 19 seconds.

Shorter distance results

In the men's 5-kilometer race, Rainer Treilmann won with a time of 16 minutes and 35 seconds. Tristan Toomas Kivisaar placed second at 17 minutes and 9 seconds, followed by Artur Smirnov in third at 17 minutes and 17 seconds.

Among women in the 5km race, Lizette Rattur was fastest at 19 minutes and 38 seconds. Kseniya Goldman finished second (20 minutes 24 seconds), and Helen Janisoo took third (20 minutes 56 seconds).

Across the event's three timed distances — 10km, 5km, and 2.5km — a total of 703 participants completed the race, with results compiled by Marathon100.com.
