Narva Trans Suffers Heavy Defeat in Estonian Football Championship

Narva Trans lost 0-3 to Harju, recording their 15th loss of the season and remaining at the bottom of the league table.

On Friday, July 10, in the 19th round of the Estonian football championship, Narva Trans suffered a 0-3 away defeat against Harju from Laagri.

Harju took the lead in the 7th minute through Hugo Palutaja. In the 31st minute, Narva defender Nikita Balyabkin scored an own goal, doubling the hosts' advantage. The visitors were reduced to ten men in the 78th minute when Aleksandr Filatov received a red card for a last-man foul. In stoppage time, Karel Eerme converted a penalty to set the final score.

Harju now have 22 points and sit in 7th place. Narva, with only 10 points and 15 defeats this season, are at the bottom of the 10-team table. They trail 9th-placed Kuressaare by seven points, with Kuressaare having a game in hand.

The two remaining matches of the 19th round will be played on Saturday: Vaprus vs. Tammeka and Nõmme United vs. Kuressaare. The four clubs competing in European competitions – Flora, Levadia, Nõmme Kalju, and Paide – played their 19th-round fixtures earlier.
