Estonian football club Narva Trans has signed 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Wisdom Awusi, who will wear the number 48 jersey.
Narva Trans football club has announced the signing of 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Wisdom Awusi. The new player will wear the number 48 shirt for the team.
Awusi plays as a central midfielder. He began his career in his home country, representing the Ghanaian club Mountain. In 2022, the footballer moved to Spain, where he played for several clubs: Marbella, Colunga, Real Jaén, and Córdoba, from which he transferred to Narva.
The player himself notes that he considers himself a versatile midfielder who actively participates both in defensive actions and in organizing attacks. "It is important for me to constantly progress and do everything possible to help the team achieve its goals. My first impressions of Estonia, Narva, and the club are very good. I was welcomed very warmly here," said Awusi.
According to the newcomer, he is already familiar with the team's head coach David Campaña, so he understands his requirements well and is ready to help the team from the first matches.
Head coach David Campaña emphasized that the new player will expand the team's options in midfield. "Awusi is a midfielder who immediately adds new possibilities to our game in building attacks. His passing culture, calmness in decision-making, and ability to link defense with attack make our game more diverse. Additionally, he creates healthy competition, which helps raise the overall level of the team," noted the specialist.
The debut for Trans, which is currently at the bottom of the Estonian championship, may take place on July 18 in a home match against Vaprus.
