Narvesen Manager: Sustainability is Our Priority, We Reduce CO2 and Palm Oil
The manager of Narvesen explains the company's sustainability efforts, including CO2 reduction targets, the introduction of Nutri Score, and plans to decrease palm oil in products.

In a recent interview, the manager of Narvesen outlined the company's sustainability strategy and future plans. She emphasized that the company is aware of its environmental impact and conducted its first CO2 footprint assessment in 2020. The results were revealing: nearly 80% of total emissions came from the product assortment rather than direct operations.
By 2030, Narvesen aims to gradually reduce CO2 emissions, focusing primarily on product selection. The company has introduced a private label called "Good food" with a Nutri Score system to help customers make healthier choices. Additionally, plans are in place to reduce the number of products containing palm oil.
The manager noted that the owners' vision is to be "on the right side of history" by promoting healthy options and caring for the planet. She also reminded that convenient shopping is not just about newspapers, tickets, and sweets, but also includes quick meal solutions and coffee.
