During the drills, 80 tanks, armored vehicles, and heavy trucks were transported from Germany to Lithuania via Poland.
According to the organizers, the exercise modeled a situation in which Russian forces in the Kaliningrad region could destroy NATO aircraft and ships carrying reinforcements. These exercises are part of NATO's efforts to ensure rapid deployment of forces to the region in case of a crisis.
