A senior NATO official has stated that Ukraine's strikes on targets inside Russia are increasingly impacting Moscow's ability to continue the war, by disrupting logistics, damaging air defense systems, and harming energy infrastructure.

The official emphasized that Ukraine has significantly improved its ability to block Russian transport hubs in rear areas using unmanned aerial vehicles. Ukrainian forces can strike Russian logistics vehicles up to 200 kilometers behind the front line, which, according to NATO, could facilitate successful local Ukrainian counteroffensives.

Ukraine is now capable of inflicting serious losses on Russian logistics depots, air defense, and energy infrastructure in occupied territories and border regions of Russia. The official noted that in May alone, Ukrainian drones likely destroyed over 130 logistics vehicles.

NATO also believes that Russia has not abandoned its goals in the war against Ukraine, despite suffering over 1.4 million military casualties. Meanwhile, Estonia's intelligence recently reported that fighting on the front lines decreased somewhat in early June.
