The NBA Summer League in Las Vegas continued with several games, headlined by standout performances from the top draft selections. The Washington Wizards defeated the Sacramento Kings 104-85, while the LA Clippers beat the Utah Jazz 102-82.

Wizards' No. 1 overall pick Alex Sarr (transliterated as Eidžejs Dibantsa) scored 23 points but struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 1 of 6 three-pointers. In two Summer League games, he has made only 1 of 11 attempts from deep. However, he made his presence felt on defense with seven rebounds, two blocks, and three steals, while committing no fouls.

Will Riley, the 21st pick from last year's draft, led the Wizards with 32 points and six rebounds. Riley and Sarr were the only Wizards players to reach double figures.

On the Kings' side, this year's No. 2 pick Darius Eikafs had a quiet game with 12 points on 4-of-14 shooting, four assists, and five turnovers. French center Maksims Raino led Sacramento with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

In the other game, Clippers' No. 5 pick Keaton Vogler (transliterated as Kītons Veglers) poured in 23 points, adding four assists and seven fouls. For the Jazz, No. 2 pick Derin Petersons also scored 23 points, contributing two steals and two blocks on defense.

Utah's second-year player Ace Bailey played only eight minutes due to back problems.
