The National Armed Forces (NBS) have said that reports circulating in the information space about soldiers being killed during the Baltic Trust 26 military exercise are disinformation. The military has described these reports as lies and false claims.

In its statement, the NBS said that the information about fallen soldiers does not correspond to reality. The armed forces categorically reject such claims. The official message makes clear that no such events took place during the exercise and that the distributed information cannot be considered credible.

The statement was issued in response to these reports and is intended to prevent the spread of disinformation. The NBS stresses that the information in question should be regarded as untrue. Any opposing claims are to be classified as fake news.
