According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, the weather will change significantly over the weekend. Today, July 10, thunderstorms may still occur in some places, with maximum temperatures ranging from +18°C to +23°C. On Saturday, July 11, rain is expected, and the mercury will only reach +16°C to +20°C.
Heat Returns on Sunday
On Sunday, July 12, it will become considerably warmer during the day, with air temperatures reaching +22°C to +26°C. On Monday, as the influence of an anticyclone strengthens, most of the country will see temperatures of +20°C to +25°C, and locally up to +27°C to +28°C. Thus, after the cooler start to the weekend, summer-like warmth is set to return.
