Weekend weather forecast: from thunderstorms to warmth

Friday in Latvia will still see scattered thunderstorms. Daytime maximum temperatures are expected between +18°C and +23°C. Saturday will remain unstable with possible rain, and temperatures will be slightly cooler, ranging from +16°C to +20°C. Sunday brings a significant improvement – it will become warmer, with temperatures reaching +22°C to +26°C. Monday, as the anticyclone influence strengthens, most of the country will see temperatures from +20°C to +25°C, with local readings up to +27°C to +28°C, especially in central and eastern regions. The transition from Saturday to Sunday will see gradual weather improvement due to the reinforcing anticyclone. Thus, the second half of the weekend promises pleasantly warm weather suitable for outdoor activities. However, on Friday and Saturday it is advisable to follow updated forecasts as thunderstorms can be hazardous.
