On Tuesday, August 4, the night sky will be partly cloudy, with cloud cover increasing during the day. No precipitation is expected, and winds will remain light, which could lead to fog patches in some areas overnight, reducing visibility.

Nighttime temperatures will range between +9 and +14 degrees Celsius, with +15 to +16 degrees in some coastal areas near the bay. During the day, most of the country will warm up to +24…+27 degrees, while coastal areas may see +19…+23 degrees, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.

Wednesday will bring variable cloudiness, with brief showers possible in western and central regions from the afternoon, along with a chance of thunder. Winds will stay light, so fog may again form overnight and in the morning. Temperatures at night will drop to +11…+16 degrees, and locally in coastal areas and Latgale to +17…+18 degrees. During the day, under bright sunshine, the air will warm to +25…+29 degrees, with many coastal areas reaching +21…+25 degrees.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, but clouds will decrease during the day. Brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in places, mainly in the eastern part of the country. Winds will be light, with a light to moderate southwesterly and westerly breeze along the coast. Overnight lows will be +17…+20 degrees, and daytime highs will reach +24…+29 degrees, or +20…+23 degrees in some coastal areas.

Towards the end of the week, clouds will often cover the sky, and occasional rain is expected in parts of the country. Starting Friday, a cooler air mass will begin to move into Latvia, so during the weekend temperatures will not exceed +17…+22 degrees.
