Neimanis Advances to Wimbledon Junior Doubles Quarterfinals
Latvian tennis player Rihards Neimanis and his Romanian partner Matei Todoran won their second-round match at Wimbledon junior doubles on Wednesday, reaching the quarterfinals.

Latvian tennis player Rihards Neimanis, partnering with Romanian Matei Todoran, secured a victory in the second round of the Wimbledon junior doubles tournament on Wednesday. They defeated the international duo of Jack Secord (USA) and Damir Zhalgasbay (Kazakhstan) with a score of 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.
With this win, Neimanis and Todoran advanced to the third round, the quarterfinals. Their next match is scheduled for Thursday against the top seeds – Brazil's Guta and Slovenia's Žiga Šeško.
In the first round, the Latvian-Romanian pair beat Ecuador's Emilio Camacho and Taiwan's Kuan Shou Chen 6-1, 7-6 (7-0). In singles, Neimanis, after coming through qualifying, suffered a loss in the first round.
Earlier, it was reported that Latvian junior player Adelina Lachinova lost in the second round of the girls' singles and in the first round of doubles.
