In Nepal, thousands of people lost their homes, belongings and loved ones within minutes during the flash floods that struck on August 26. The disaster left widespread destruction and forced many families to seek refuge in temporary shelters.
Since then, authorities, non-governmental organizations and volunteers have been delivering humanitarian aid to the affected population. However, in overcrowded temporary camps, living conditions remain challenging, and many survivors face an uncertain future.
