Neretnieks Finishes Ninth in Prestigious Route at World Cup Show Jumping in Inčukalns
Rihards Neretnieks placed 9th in the 145cm obstacle route, while other Latvian riders achieved multiple victories in other categories at the World Cup event in Inčukalns.

The World Cup show jumping event in Inčukalns continued on Saturday with several routes. In the most prestigious Gold Tour (145cm obstacles), Finland's Petra Heikkinen riding Kearney W won with a clear round in 68.76 seconds. Latvian rider Rihards Neretnieks on Corlansky-Pro posted one of the fastest times but four faults dropped him to ninth place.
Among the other six Latvian representatives, Laura Penele on Let's Fly Z achieved the highest placing—14th out of 33 competitors. In the CSI2*-W Gold Tour (135cm), Poland's Damian Ostrega on Corneto Plus-S took the win, while Ģirts Bricis on Jayna MM finished fourth. In the CSI1* Silver Tour (125cm), Estonia's Sandra Liisa Heela on Jane Eyre won, and Nikola Avkstola on Notting Hill Z claimed fourth.
Terēze Oliņa on Highlight TD won the CSI1* Bronze Tour (110cm), Lāsma Vasiļjeva on Kansuela won the CSIJ-A Table A (120cm), and Ģirts Bricis on Fermate F won the CSIYH1* Table A for young horses (120/125cm).
Sunday's competition starts at 8:00 a.m. and concludes with the Grand Prix route featuring 155cm obstacles. A total of 121 riders from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, and Finland are competing, also vying for qualification to the European Championships.
