The Nex Playground drops to its pre-RAMageddon price during Prime Day
The Nex Playground, a motion-controlled family game console, is on sale for $239 on Prime Day – matching its price before the RAM shortage caused increases.

The Nex Playground, a motion-sensing game console reminiscent of Microsoft's Kinect, has become a hit with families. It offers kid-friendly games that get children moving and entertained. Now, during Amazon's Prime Day, it's available for $239, down from its current MSRP of $299.
The console became a victim of RAMageddon – the global RAM price surge – which raised its price in April. Before the crisis, the Nex cost $199; afterwards, it jumped to $299. This deal is slightly better than recent discounts, but still above the original price.
A subscription is required to access more than a few starter games. A 3-month Play Pass costs $49, while a 12-month pass is $89. The subscription economy and RAMageddon affect everyone, but a sale can soften the blow.
