Netherlands crush Tunisia with fast start, win Group F
The Netherlands defeated Tunisia 3-1 in their final World Cup Group F match, securing first place in the group with a dominant performance.

The Netherlands national team sealed top spot in Group F with a convincing 3-1 win over Tunisia in Kansas City. Ronald Koeman's side laid the foundation for victory in the opening minutes, scoring twice within seven minutes. In the third minute, Denzel Dumfries' cross was turned into his own net by Tunisia captain Ellyes Skhiri. Four minutes later, Virgil van Dijk headed a free kick from Tijjani Reijnders to the far post, where Brian Brobbey tapped in for his third goal of the tournament, putting him among the top scorers.
Tunisia pulled one back in the 54th minute when Hazem Masturi scored from a corner kick, but the Netherlands restored their two-goal lead just eight minutes later. Jan Paul van Hecke's header deflected off Anis Slimani and into the goal.
After a shaky start to the tournament with a 2-2 draw against Japan, the Netherlands have shown significant improvement, thrashing Sweden 5-1 and now beating Tunisia convincingly. Brobbey and Cody Gakpo have combined for six goals in the last two games, giving the team momentum heading into the knockout stage. In the round of 16, the Dutch will face Morocco, the second-placed team from Group C.
Tunisia's World Cup campaign ended without a point. After a 5-1 loss to Sweden, coach Sabri Lamouchi was replaced by Hervé Renard, but the team still lost to Japan (0-4) and the Netherlands. The Dutch extended their unbeaten group-stage run to 19 games, a World Cup record.
