Niks Endziņš announces wedding with Sindija Bokāne is off

Latvian influencers Niks Endziņš and Sindija Bokāne have run into conflict with Sindija's relatives, leading the couple to put their wedding preparations on hold. They discussed the situation on the show "Slavenības. Bez filtra."

Sindija says it matters greatly to her that both of her parents attend the wedding and that her father walk her down the aisle. Endziņš, meanwhile, sharply criticizes the attitude of Sindija's family, particularly her stepfather Kaspars, arguing that if relatives don't respond to important requests, they aren't truly family.

Root of the dispute

According to Sindija, her mother has criticized the couple for frequently moving between residences, urging them to finally buy their own property and start thinking more seriously about the future. Endziņš believes the family is trying to spoil a special moment in their lives.

He also complained that Sindija's stepfather Kaspars has pressed her to lend him money, stressing that he himself built everything from nothing, not coming from a wealthy family. As a contrast, he points to his own mother, who supported him through difficult periods in his life.

Sindija emphasizes that the wedding is a significant, once-in-a-lifetime event for her, not an ordinary celebration, which is why she wants both parents present. She says the criticism directed at the couple has left her shocked, and she believes her relatives are trying to ruin the moment.

On the show, Niks Endziņš stated that, given the current situation, his wedding to Sindija is being called off.
