Japanese carmaker Nissan has opened orders in Europe for Pixo, its smallest electric model. In Germany the four-seat city car starts at €19,990.

Japanese carmaker Nissan has begun taking orders for the Pixo, its smallest electric model, designed mainly for city driving. The information concerns the European market, where the price in Germany starts at €19,990, placing the car in the more affordable end of the electric vehicle segment.
Technical details
The four-seat Pixo is 3.8 metres long. It is fitted with a 60 kW electric motor and a 27.5 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery. Under the WLTP cycle, a standardised method for measuring range and consumption, it can travel up to 259 km on a single charge.
At a fast DC charging station, charging power can reach 50 kW, so the battery can be topped up from 15 to 80% in roughly 28 minutes. The top speed is 130 km/h, and the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.9 seconds. Boot capacity ranges from 356 to 1,221 litres.
Trims and prices
In the German market the Pixo is offered in three trim levels:
- Engage – €19,990;
- Advance – €21,290;
- Evolve – €22,690.
The base version already includes a digital instrument panel, a 10.1-inch multimedia screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control and LED headlights. The higher trims add a rear-view camera, Google services, heated seats, adaptive cruise control and an automatic parking function.
