Major bus schedule changes from September 1 in Limbaži and Sigulda area
Starting September 1, carrier VTU Valmiera is changing its regional bus network around Limbaži and Sigulda, adding and removing stops and shifting several departure times. Passengers are urged to check updated timetables before traveling.

Bus operator SIA "VTU Valmiera" has announced that, coinciding with the start of the new school year and the autumn season, it will introduce significant changes to its regional bus route network in the Limbaži and Sigulda areas from September 1. The changes involve both new and discontinued stops as well as adjusted departure times on several routes.
New and removed stops
Several routes will gain new stops. On the "Sigulda–Kaķīškalns–Institūts–Sigulda" route, buses will now also stop at "Pagrieziens uz Allažiem" and "Slimnīca", while the "Sigulda–Saltavots–Pelītes–Sigulda" route will include a stop called "Šokolāde". Meanwhile, on the "Sigulda–Jūdaži–More–Eglaine" route, the early morning departure from Sigulda bus station will no longer serve the "Baltais flīģelis" stop.
Changes also affect routes around Riga and the coastal area. The "Rīga–Saulkrasti–Limbaži" and "Rīga–Ainaži" routes will add the "Ādažu muiža" stop to their schedules, though it will not apply to several specific departures heading toward Ainaži. The "Vefieši" stop will now be served on the "Sigulda–Saulkrasti" and "Saulkrasti–Pabaži–Dārziņi–Saulkrasti" routes.
Adjusted departure times
To better match passenger flow, particularly for schoolchildren, several timetables have been revised. On "Saulkrasti–Brankšas–Saulkrasti", the weekday morning departure moves from 7:00 to 7:20. On "Saulkrastu stacija–Kursīši", the afternoon departure shifts from 15:25 to 16:25, and the summer Sunday departure moves from 17:35 to 18:25.
On "Sigulda–Allaži–Mālpils", several departure times from Mālpils and Sigulda have been changed. On "Sigulda–Allažmuiža", the afternoon school-time departure from Sigulda bus station moves ten minutes later. The "Ainaži–Saulkrastu stacija" evening service will run five minutes earlier year-round. Several travel, departure and arrival times have also been adjusted on the "Rīga–Sigulda" route.
The company is urging passengers to follow updated information and check the new timetables before traveling.
