From Aviation to Agriculture: German Bruno Finds His Paradise in Latvia
German national Bruno Anderson came to Latvia 18 years ago for a one-year job in aviation, but ended up staying forever. Now he runs an organic farm and calls his life paradise.

Eighteen years ago, German citizen Bruno Anderson arrived in Latvia to work as a surveyor in the aviation industry for a year. After that first year, he decided to stay for another, and then another, until finally realizing that Latvia was his permanent home.
Today, Bruno runs the organic farm "Krustiņi," where he raises cattle, chickens, and a few sheep. He says that farming brings him great satisfaction and that this is truly paradise.
Although he initially came to Latvia only temporarily, he fell in love with the country and its nature. Now he has found his place in the sun and has no plans to return to Germany.
