Deceased Man Recovered from Kundziņsala Branch in Vecmīlgrāvis

According to the State Police, rescuers on Saturday recovered a deceased man from the Kundziņsala branch in Vecmīlgrāvis, near Meldru Street. The man, born in 1991, is believed to have fallen into the water on Friday. A criminal process has been launched to determine the circumstances.

The State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that rescuers searched the Kundziņsala branch at the request of the police. Social media reports indicated that local residents had noticed the person in the water.
