On Saturday night, short-term rain is expected in parts of the west, and in the afternoon, a precipitation zone will start crossing Latvia from the west, bringing rain to many areas, with heavy rain showers and thunderstorms in western and central regions. Saturday night will have light winds and fog in spots, but from Saturday morning, the wind will strengthen, with gusts up to 15 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to +15…+20°C. Saturday will still be hot, with temperatures reaching +24…+29°C in many places, but on Sunday, the maximum temperature will be +18…+23°C.
At the beginning of next week, a new cyclone will form near Latvia's border, leading to occasional rain, with some areas experiencing prolonged and possibly heavy rain. Days will become cooler, with temperatures around +20°C. North winds will dominate, moderate and gusty in coastal areas.
