Internal Records of Elite Secret Society Exposed

A trove of internal documents from a secret society that brings together powerful figures in US politics, finance, and technology was left exposed online, according to WIRED. The group, called Dialog, is an invitation-only organization co-founded in 2006 by billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel. It holds annual off-the-record retreats for US officials, foreign government representatives, and Silicon Valley executives.

The directory was first uncovered by Swiss hacktivist maia arson crimew, who told WIRED it came from an anonymous tip. WIRED independently verified the contents. Separately, a source provided the registration list for Dialog’s 2026 retreat, which names 222 people and their membership status. The retreat is scheduled for August 12–16 at the Powerscourt Hotel near Dublin, Ireland.

High-Profile Attendees and Sessions

The registration list includes NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Alexus Grynkewich, sitting Trump administration officials, two US senators, six members of the PayPal Mafia, a former Middle East intelligence chief, and founders of major surveillance and data brokerage companies. For instance, Dialog chairman Auren Hoffman, who founded data broker SafeGraph, appears alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Senator Ted Cruz. Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale is listed with Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Representative Jim Himes.

The retreat program features off-the-record sessions such as “Money (Does?) Buy Happiness,” “Bring Back Nuclear,” “Navigating WWIII,” “Battlefield Technologies,” and “How’s Your Sex Life?” Participants also shared predictions about AI’s impact, with many foreseeing mass labor displacement and societal disruption.

Sensitive Data and Matchmaking

The leak exposed sensitive personal information, including political leanings that Dialog promised would never be shared. The society also offers a matchmaking service, with a site dating.dialog.org and a form asking registrants if they are “looking for love.” This data was exposed in the leak.

Dialog’s website had a directory embedded in its code, accessible to any visitor viewing the page source. Its app.dialog.org page allowed sign-in without restrictions. Past retreats have been held at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in Arizona and the San Clemente Palace in Venice, Italy. Registration fees exceed $16,000. The 2014 retreat list included financier Jeffrey Epstein, though it is unclear if he attended.
