Leak reveals Google's upcoming Fitbit Edge fitness tracker
A new leak has surfaced details about Google's rumored Fitbit Edge, a mid-range tracker expected to slot between the Fitbit Air and Pixel Watch 5. The device could launch in time for the 2026 holiday season.

Android Headlines has published the first leaked details of an upcoming Google fitness tracker called the Fitbit Edge. Earlier this year, ads had already hinted at a mid-range Fitbit model positioned between the budget Fitbit Air and the premium Pixel Watch 5.
Based on the leaked images, the Fitbit Edge appears to be a potential successor to the Fitbit Charge, which was last updated in 2023. The new device features a small screen similar to the Charge and is expected to include features such as GPS and notifications.
Expected features
According to the leak, the Fitbit Edge will offer up to seven days of battery life, along with GPS and an altimeter. It will also have limited support for select apps, including Google Maps and YouTube Music. These features would make the Edge a more capable alternative to the Fitbit Air, or a "lite" version of the Pixel Watch 5 — with the key difference that the Edge is expected to work with both iOS and Android, unlike the Android-only Pixel Watch 5.
The tracker may come in several colorways matching those seen on Pixel 11 smartphones, including Rose Peach and Olive.
Timing and price
The device is expected to arrive in time for the 2026 holiday season. Pricing remains unconfirmed, but it is likely to cost somewhat more than the older Fitbit Charge, which ranged from $129 to $179. That would put the Fitbit Edge at roughly $150 to $200, positioning it between the $100 Fitbit Air and the $400 Pixel Watch 5.
