Norris wins in the Netherlands for second race in a row, but stays cautious on title hopes

Reigning world champion Lando Norris celebrated victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, marking his second win in a row. Starting from pole position, Norris lost the lead to Kimi Antonelli at the restart but later managed to overtake both him and Lewis Hamilton, who had not yet made his pit stop and was temporarily leading the race.
After the finish, Norris spoke cautiously to reporters about his chances of fighting for this year's title, despite now sitting 83 points behind championship leader Antonelli. He stressed that he does not want to look too far ahead and is instead focusing on taking races one at a time. Norris said he now plans to enjoy a short break before the upcoming race in Monza.
Satisfaction with the team
Norris acknowledged that the past two race weekends had gone well for the team, though he noted there are still areas that need improvement if they want to genuinely compete for the title. He expressed appreciation for the effort put in by everyone on the team, while admitting the situation is tougher than he would like and that he wishes for a bigger advantage over rivals.
The decisive overtaking move
During the race, Norris executed a crucial overtaking maneuver against his main rivals. He explained that he knew his opportunities would be limited, and that each lap spent behind his competitors reduced his chances. Seeing that Hamilton was defending his position, Norris decided to take a risk with a later braking point, adjusting his brake balance accordingly. The move paid off, securing him the race win.
