Winners announced in "Brave Firefighter" competition

At the "Brave Firefighter" firefighting sports competition held in Jelgava on Friday, the Liepāja 2nd Department's 1st team won in the men's category, while the Fire Safety and Civil Protection College team took first place among women.

On Friday, the Zemgale Regional Administration of the State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) held the "Brave Firefighter" firefighting sports competition in Jelgava.

Teams representing VUGD competed in both men's and women's categories. In the men's competition, the top result went to the 1st team of Liepāja's 2nd Department, which took first place.

In the women's competition, the winning team was the Fire Safety and Civil Protection College team.

The results and winners were announced by VUGD itself.
