Landmark documentary series 7 Up reaches its final chapter

It is the final chapter of the documentary series that has followed the same group of people since 1964, when they were children, and now shows them at age 70. The episode revisits familiar faces, including the ever-cheerful dreamer Tony, who has stayed close to his childhood personality, and the more reserved John, who expresses concern about how he has been portrayed over the years.
Elsewhere in the evening, several competition shows reach their climax. Also at 9pm, BBC One's "Celebrity MasterChef" enters finals week with an unusual challenge at the Crufts dog show, where contestants must cook a dog-themed menu. Channel 4 airs a documentary examining British attitudes toward the monarchy, noting that support for its abolition has reportedly reached a high point.
