Italian singer Laura Pausini has expressed excitement about performing at the closing ceremony alongside Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger. Half-time will feature performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, and BTS.
Star-Studded Closing Ceremony Lineup
Italian singer Laura Pausini told the BBC she is "very excited" and "proud" to perform at the closing ceremony alongside Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger. "When Robbie [Williams] invited me to sing with him, I felt goosebumps everywhere because Robbie's one of my favorite singer, songwriter, and performer," Pausini said.
Half-time entertainment will include performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, and BTS. Madonna, the best-selling female music artist of all time, will perform following the release of her new album, "Confessions II," which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in July.
Justin Bieber returned to the spotlight earlier this year with his biggest live performance in four years at the Coachella music festival after canceling his "Justice" world tour due to health issues.
