Nothing launches $399 flagship Headphone (1) Pro with professional-grade controls
Nothing has unveiled its new flagship audio product, the Headphone (1) Pro, aimed at professionals with a switch to disable equalizer and spatial audio for accurate mixing. The headphones are now available through Nothing's site, Amazon and Best Buy in the US.

Nothing has introduced the Headphone (1) Pro, its new flagship audio product and the first from the company to include studio-level controls. The launch follows the well-received $199 Headphone A series, with the new model stepping up both specifications and price.
The headphones come in white and black options, without the yellow variant offered in earlier releases, priced at $399. They ship with a glossy plastic hardcase that wraps around the ear cups, allowing the pair to be carried by the headband. The design retains Nothing's signature transparent aesthetic, drawing on a late-90s, early-2000s tech look.
A feature built for professionals
A standout addition is a small switch that disables the equalizer and spatial audio, letting studio professionals hear audio without processing for more accurate mixing. The flat equalizer setting was developed in collaboration with Metropolis Studios, a London-based mastering studio. This runs counter to an industry trend of adding more equalizer options, as seen with Apple's AirPods Pro.
The Headphone (1) Pro supports LDAC, 24-bit high-res audio and wireless lossless connections. Sound is produced through three drivers tuned separately for bass, vocal and instrumental ranges. The headphones also support Auracast as both a transmitter and receiver when paired with the companion app.
Durability and comfort improvements
The headphones carry an IP52 rating, with Nothing promising up to 32 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation on, and up to 68 hours with it off. The noise cancellation system uses 10 microphones along with a new silicone baffle wall designed to improve physical sound isolation.
Compared to the original Headphone (1), the ear cushions are about 50 percent softer and better accommodate glasses, while the headband is 10 percent wider. Nothing also named BTS member V as a new global brand ambassador to mark the launch.
