Janno Jürgens's Psychological Thriller "Mind ei ole sinuta" to Hit Cinemas in November
The second full-length feature by Estonian director Janno Jürgens, "Mind ei ole sinuta" ("I Am Not Without You"), will be released in cinemas in November, exploring family bonds through the story of two estranged sisters and a life-altering secret.

Estonian filmmaker Janno Jürgens is set to release his second feature film, "Mind ei ole sinuta" ("I Am Not Without You"), in cinemas this November. The psychological thriller delves into the intricate maze of family relationships.
At the heart of the story are two sisters who have drifted apart. A single tragic event and a hidden secret force them to confront their past and change everything they thought they knew.
Jürgens has said that he is drawn to extreme emotional states — what happens to people under extraordinary pressure and how far they are willing to go to achieve their goals. The bond between two very close individuals is put to a severe test, leaving only a glimmer of hope that they may find a way through.
Eva Koldits, who plays one of the leads, praised the director for allowing her the freedom to find her own path to the character. She described the collaboration as "safely unsafe," noting that the creative process involved doubt, experimentation, and moments of absolute certainty that could be instantly uprooted.
The film stars Eva Koldits and Mari Abel, with supporting performances by Katarina Unt and Andres Mähar. Jürgens wrote the script alongside co-writer Anti Naulainen. The crew includes cinematographer Erik Põllumaa, production designer Matis Mäesalu, costume designer Eve Valme, and composer Maarja Nuut. The film is produced by Marju Lepp and Manfred Vainokivi under the banner of Filmivabrik.
The release is scheduled for November, promising a gripping cinematic experience for audiences interested in psychological dramas.
